Eagle Harbour

Access via Eagle Harbour Rd from Marine Dr.

At Eagle Harbour, we decided to take the opportunity to prove that Nina and I actually exist in the same universe. We discovered that we're really bad at not looking like a lesbian couple. That's what's so funny. By the way, that's the park in the background.

Here's a shot of it without us in the way:

Look at the nice sandy slope of that beach. There are bathrooms to change in and an outdoor shower to rise off the salt. It's the perfect place for a swim, right? Wrong! Before you dive in, take a look the view from that beach:

It's a stunning peaceful marina, but marinas and swimming beaches do not go well together. That water is disgusting. It's full of engine oil and sewage. Stay out!

But that's no reason to stay away from Eagle Harbour. There's big rocks to climb on, little rocks to look for crabs under, you can make sandcastles on the beach, and the view alone is worth the trip.

Right before we left, this cat showed up to sniff my bag:

I don't like cats, but this one was very friendly. That doesn't make me like this cat any more, but I think that says something about the type of people who go to Eagle Harbour. I bet this cat has spent a lot of time meeting people at this beach. They must have all been friendly enough to extinguish all of this cat's shyness.

PPR
Good: great beach, great view, friendly visitors
Bad: not good for swimming
7/10
